Brief introduction:

Guoqing Xu , male, was born in 1967 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. In 1988, 1991 and 1994, he got his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degree in electronic engineering of Zhejiang University in order. He was designated as vice president of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2007 to 2010 and president from 2010 till now. In 2009, he worked as the chief designer and vice director of Electric Vehicle R&D Center in Chinese Academy of Sciences. Xu took charge of 863 national projects, and over 30 key projects by Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fund, Knowledge Innovation Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences and China Postdoctoral Fund. He is associate editor and editorial board of several international academic journals. Besides, he is also senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), managing director of the Chinese Energy Society and director of China Instrument and Control Society. In 2014, he founded the Intelligent Car and Robot Branch of Chinese Instrument and Control Society and served as the director. He has worked as chairman and co-chairman of international academic conferences for several times and has been invited to deliver theme report and academic report for over 10 times. Xu published over 170 papers in the international academic magazines and conferences and more than 100 of them were accepted in SCI and EI journal and cited for 270 times. Besides, he wrote a Chinese book and three chapters of an English book. Additionally, he won 8 scientific and technological academic awards at the provincial and ministerial level and above.
